I 've just bought and installed Delphi 10.2.3 Tokyo.
Do you know if I can I develope applications for android devices using this pack, or I have to purchase
an add on?
Looking at Delphi Pro feature page, https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/delphi my impression was that android developement is included in pro version, but I can't find any Android platform in my IDE (just Win32, Win64 and OSX).

10.2.3 Professional includes support for mobile development.

Looking at Delphi Pro feature page,
https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/delphi my
impression was that android developement is included in pro version,

It is, yes. That is a new feature added in 10.2.3:

http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/10.2_Tokyo_-_Release_3

The 10.2.3 release focuses on several key areas:

...
- Inclusion of mobile support in Delphi and C++Builder Professional
Edition.

but I can't find any Android platform in my IDE (just Win32, Win64
and OSX).

Did you choose to install Android platform support when you installed
the IDE? Did you use the Web-based installer or the ISO installer?

I was not asked anything about Android. I bought it on line from embarcadero site. They sent me a link to download it, and it installed automaticly. It asked me what platforms to install and I chose all three available, win32, win64 and osx. There was no reference about android or ios.
My question is, how can I add android and ios platforms in my delphi instalation?

If you have installed Delphi using the web installer then the IDE should
have an option to manage the platforms in the "Tools" menu.

This option exists, but in the list of platforms there is neither
android or ios (just win32, win64 and osx).
I don't know what to do in order to add android option.
I bought D10.2 as an upgrade from starter edition (this way I saved
about 100 euros).
Is this the reason for the missing mobiles?

Select "License Manager" from the "Help" menu.

Select your licence and verify that there is a line like this in the
"This License Activates:" section:

Delphi 10.2 Tokyo Professional with Mobile

If the line does not exists then try pressing the "Update..." button to
refresh the license details.

Cleverbridge just answered to me that there is no mobile license in my
D10.2.3 pro and if I want I can cancel my order.
I ordered from this page
https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/delphi
It is clear that mobile add on is included with pro version.

Is there a different policy for orders from Europe?

It is clear that mobile add on is included with pro version.

Mobile is included in RAD Studio 10.2.3 Pro. The License you showed
is for Delphi 10.2.3 Pro, which according to the Feature Matrix
requires a separate Mobile add-on:

https://www.embarcadero.com/docs/Delphi-Feature-Matrix.pdf

X1 = Optional with Mobile Add on Pack in **Delphi Professional** and
C++ Builder Professional, included in **RAD Professional**

The mobile items are marked as "D1" in the Professional column.

The purchase page you mentioned:

https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/delphi

Is for Delphi only, not for RAD Studio. If you look really closely,
there is a footnote on that page (in the "Features" list):

1 = Optional for Development of iOS and Android apps

But none of the items on the page are marked with "1", which seems to
contradict the Feature Matrix (unless someone accidently left it off or
its hidden).

The purchase page for RAD Studio:

https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/rad-studio

Does not have that footnote in its "Features" list.

Also, the Release Notes for 10.2.3 say:

http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/10.2_Tokyo_-_Release_3

New in 10.2.3 for Delphi and C++Builder Professional edition is the
inclusion of mobile support **for new purchases** and customers on
active Update Subscription. Previously sold as a separate add-on pack,
the included mobile support allows Delphi and C++ developers to target
iOS and Android, in addition to Windows and macOS, all from a single
codebase.

I wonder if **Upgrade from Starter** is not eligible for the inclusion
of Mobile?

It is indeed very confusing.

Remy

When I look at https://www.embarcadero.com/products/delphi/product-editions I can see Android and iOS icons in "Professional" column. There is no "*" saying that support for mobile devices is optional.

Trying to order mobile add on from this page
https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/mobile-add-on-pack-for-delphi
it opens this page
https://store.embarcadero.com/542/purl-buy-mobile-pack-delphi-10-2-new
which is exactly the same while ordering for a new Delphi 10.2

Also, the matrix has a big positive mark for mobile add-on, without any
footnote.

Cleverbridge answered to my complain that this is the license that
Embarcadero has sent for my order, and I should ask Emb. about it, or
request a full refund.
Embarcadero live chat is continuously off line. I left a note about my
case, but there is no response so far. I would be waiting.

After 10 hours and no response from Embarcadero. I've just sent a
similar ticket again.
At Embarcadero on line store
https://www.embarcadero.com/app-development-tools-store/delphi, live
chat is still offline. I have written my issue here as well, but no
response either.

The mystery is solved. I’ve just got for free a serial number for
mobile development. Everything works fine.
I had to open a ticket at support department and after 24 hours they
sent me the valuable serial.
Isn’t it too much bureaucracy for a software company?

Anyway.
Thanks a lot Embarcadero for keeping Delphi alive and kicking.

I've just got a serial number to activate mobile.
