Hi,

Has someone experienced that the content of the documentation tab is
aligned to the left, making it unusubale? is there a way to manually
resize it to fit the entire available area to display correctly?

Thanks in advance,

Omar Zelaya

It looks like your layout has changed. Try this:

View >> Desktop >> Default Layout

This might fix it. I had this problem but this was because I installed
10.2.2 in a different folder so now I have both versions on my machine
10.2.1 and 10.2.2.

Have the same issue.

Updated from Delphi 10.2.1 on Windows 10 (1709) inside vmware virtual machine. Nothing I've tried seem to help.
(The layout files doesn't contain any information about the document tab. Erasing them does nothing and I can't find anything useful in the registry.)

If anyone knows what the problem might be - please don't be shy...

OK, I found the issue.

Find the file "c:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\19.0\Welcomepage\en\documentation.htm". Open it in NotePad as administrator and replace the contents with the code below. Save the file. (Don't forget to make a backup first.)

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Documentation</title>
        <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
        <script src="js/jquery-1.11.2.min.js"></script>
        <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/styles.css" />

        <script>
            $(document).ready(function()
            {
				setFrameURL('http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/Main_Page');
            });
		</script>
    </head>
    <body>
        <iframe id="load_html" name="load_html" marginwidth="0" frameborder="0" style="display:none"></iframe>

		<script>

		//If we are online, set the URL for the frame with what we want
		function loadFrameURL()
		{
			online = true;
			delete img;
			setFrameURL(frameURL);
		}

		//If there is an error, redirect to an error page
		function loadFrameError()
		{
			clearTimeout(timer);
			delete img;
			if (!online)
			{
				setFrameURL('error.html');
			}
		}

		//Load the frame with an external URL if available, and if there is an error, show an error page
		function loadFrameContents(url)
		{
			online = false;
			frameURL = url;

			delete img;

			img = new Image();

			img.onload = loadFrameURL;

			img.onerror = loadFrameError;

			img.src='http://www.embarcadero.com/starthere/xe8/img/pageheight.png'+'?cachebreaker='+new Date().getTime();
			timer = setTimeout(function() {loadFrameError();}, 3000);
		}

		function setFrameURL(url)
		{
			if(url){
				document.getElementById('load_html').src = url
				$("#load_html").css("display", "block");
				var height = window.innerHeight || document.documentElement.clientHeight || document.body.clientHeight;
				$("#load_html").css("height",(height)+"px");
				var width = window.innerWidth || document.documentElement.clientWidth || document.body.clientWidth;
				$("#load_html").css("width",(width)+"px");
			}else{
				$("#load_html").css("display", "none");
			}
		}
		function setFrameHeight(){
			//Setup the bottom frame with the right height
			var height = window.innerHeight || document.documentElement.clientHeight || document.body.clientHeight;
			height -= 130;
			document.getElementById('load_html').style.height = height+"px";
		}

		</script>
	</body>

Yes, they missed the width setting from the master and all language
versions.

it in NotePad as administrator and replace the contents with the code
below. Save the file. (Don't forget to make a backup first.)

 				var width =
window.innerWidth || document.documentElement.clientWidth ||
document.body.clientWidth;
$("#load_html").css("width",(width)+"px");

Thanks for that.

But in my IDE, the page displays as too wide, so the right side is
clipped by the frame. The following works better for me:

Instead of:

				var width = window.innerWidth ||
document.documentElement.clientWidth || document.body.clientWidth;
                        $("#load_html").css("width",(width)+"px");

I simply do:

                        $("#load_html").css("width","100%");

That works better for me, as the right side of the page is not clipped
by the window frame now. The contents are reduced to fit in the frame.
