Hello,

I'm trying to learn a bit about FMX component development and thus I
created a package.

As soon as I add this line in the .dpk file (e.g. test.dpk) and try to
compile it complaints that it cannot find the bpl (e.g. test.bpl):

{$LIBSUFFIX '240'}

but in the package output directory it still has created a test240.bpl
file. Now why does it try to load test.bpl instead of test240.bpl?

Greetings

Markus

you are finding the wrong .dcp file more than likely. The dcp file does not
include the libsiffix by default and you probably have one that is still linking
internally to the non suffixed bpl.
