Delphi Starts up with Platform Selector Every time

I attempted to install C++ Starter on my computer, but exited before
doing so (for other reasons).

However, now every time I start up Delphi I get the platform selector.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of it?

This is what pops up when I start Delphi now:

It is asking you to choose which platforms to install. Clearly you don't
have any platforms installed yet. You cancelled the installation, so something
is incomplete. So complete it.

Yeah - I have Delphi 10.1 Berlin Enterprise installed.

And - apparently I can't complete it.

From Embarcadero:

"We have confirmed that you cannot have two different editions of the
same version on your machine"

"e.g. You cannot have Delphi 10.1 Berlin Enterprise and C++Builder 10.1
Berlin Starter"

No C++ for me :)

If you want the same version of both Delphi and C++ installed on the same
machine, you will need to uninstall the individual products and install the
full RADStudio instead. It includes both Delphi and C++ personalities.

I just wanted to try out the C++ starter edition and do the bootcamp -
nothing more nothing less.

That apparently isn't possible as I'm a Delphi 10.1 Berlin Enterprise
user.

A second computer (or a free Virtualization product) appears to be
required.

This is not helpful. I have the same thing happening to me ... not because I didn't complete the installation, but because the installation failed due to a totally ambigous 'operation error'.

I then proceeded to install 10.2 from an ISO which worked, but now every time I start Delphi, Platform Selector pops up and prompts me to complete installation which - again - fails every time!

It surely must be a registry entry somewhere ... or ... I don't know ... any guidelines for this mess, please??

You could try to follow
https://community.embarcadero.com/article/articles-support/174-rad-studi
o/installation-registration/16501-manual-uninstall-of-rad-studio-delphi-
c-builder-10-2 and then to install again using the ISO installer.

Warning. This could or not help to get a proper installation.

Well, problem solved .... after manually (using guide above) uninstalling RadStudio and then cleaning out the registry of any Tokyo references and than installing everything again.

I guess it was just one of those things ...
