It appears Idera is still acquiring development tools, so that seems
reassuring, I guess.

Indeed, but the updated roadmap by Atanas Popov is muhc more
reassuring, IMO (see message by Kim Madsen).

Yes, though that's words and the acquisition is action & investment.
It appears the main value of the acquisition is TestRail. How does
that fit into their product line? IIRC, TestRail is for Ruby on Rails?
SmartInspect has been dormant for several years, and they own CodeSite
now, so there's not much future for SmartInspect I guess.

AFAIK, not only for RoR. Only recently I read something about it, and
it seems to be usable with many languages.
