Greetings,

I want to notify that "Torry's Delphi Pages" changed its owner.

I hope that 19 years which I spent with torry.net brought some help for Delphi Developers. I was nice time, however there is the time change something in my life.

Thank you for your continuous support!

I'm still consulting YAMACO Software for some time with site management.

Torry.net will be moving to new location, so it will be unavailable for several days.

New owner, YAMACO Software will offer you the new possibilities and will bring torry.net to next level. Below is the official announce.

Czech IT company YAMACO Software has completed process of acquisition of
portal Torry.net, which gathers all components, utilities, helpful programs
and other sources, related to development software (Embarcadero) Delphi on
one place.
It’s one of the most significant portal of its kind whose average attendance
per month is approximately 31 000 unique users and monthly flow of datas
(mainly download) is presented by average amount of 400 GB.
The change of hosting of the whole portal will be done during the first
half of September as an existing economical solution didn’t allow an
efficient and fast access to portal’s particular parts.
As the result, we expect a significant growth of an attendance which –
according to our calculations – should be up to 30%.

Actual desing and functionality of portal will remain, only main page will
be changed as it will carry the identity of YAMACO Software.

In the nearest future you can expext new features such as:
- Better web’s accessibility and shorter loading times of pages
- Higher attendance
- New sections on the main page
- More variable conditions for advertisers and the authors of
components

We would like to thank to founder and administrator of this portal Mr. Maxim
Peresada and his co-workers for creating such an amazing place, which – for
a long time – has served to creators and users of components and everything
related to Delphi as well.
On behalf of YAMACO Software, we believe both creators and users will be
satisfied with services of Torry.net like they were used to before and the
portal will be getting just better and better – just like Delphi itself.

I recommend investigating something like CloudFlare to really speed up the site:

https://www.cloudflare.com/

And or a CDN for the downloads like MaxCDN:

https://www.maxcdn.com/

Ditto. I used Delphi full-time from 1994 to 2004, and most of that time, Torry's was a site I checked out almost every day to stay on top of component options. I got a job doing Delphi again in 2014, and while just about everything else on my ancient Delphi Bookmarks tab 404'ed (or worse), Torry's was still there and still updating regularly. It made me feel good.

Thank you so much for your work and dedication over such a long stretch of time.
