Copy Database and Copy Data Not Working

According to the IBConsole help file there are two copy functions. I
have been trying to use:

- Copy Database replicates an entire database either to an existing
database or to a new database.
- Copy Data copies the data from one table to another

Both seem pretty straightforward to use and yet I get no data copied
using any of the methods described in the Help. The dialogs described by
Help are presented and in fact Copy Database does define a new database
that is populated with tables, users and so forth. (It has problems with
encryptions, however.) Regardless, no matter what I try, no actual data
is transferred.

Has this functionality not yet been implemented? Am I missing some
simple setting?

My current workaround is to display the data from each table and export
it to a raw data format file (.ibx) and the to import it to the
corresponding table in the target database. It seems to work, but is a
bit tedious.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA,

Do you get any errors? When you do copy database, does the new database
get created?

I'm pretty sure that what copy database does is backup your database and
restore to a new one. So, if you just want a copy of your database, you
could do that instead.

What copy data does is just execute an SQL insert statement. I can help
you with that if need be.
