I'd also like to point out that Delphi for Mobile is very good for
enterprise apps and enterprise apps won't necessarily be deployed via an
app store. I built a very successful enterprise app that is deployed via a
private app store internally to employees of the client only. It is
projected to save the client millions of dollars worth of time over the
coarse of a year by replacing paper in one facet of their business. The
app is continuing to be upgraded with additional time saving functionally.
Good news. I think EMB should target developers of enterprise/business
apps. Lets face it, Delphi/FMX will always be a niche market product, but
make it a good one(like the old days). Make FMX stable/usable platform for
mobile business apps and fix performance issues in Datasnap. Of course, one
of the bright stars is Firedac, for data connectivity. Keep the vcl for
desktop/servers, until maybe the day will come, when FMX can replace it.
