I have to modify an old BCB 2007 program that is in constant use. I need to add the ability to send attachments in email. I do not have the component TIdAttachment.. on my system. I do see an .hpp file for attachments in a folder indy 10 which is dated Aug 26,2007. Am not sure which version of indy I'm using. I remember there were some problems with indy 10 at about that time. The app I build uses very simple email and whatever version of Indy I have was OK until now.

Cannot migrate the current app to my copy of Seattle as it is using a very old dll that I cannot recompile and i have yet to be able to use that dll with Seattle.

TIdAttachment is not a component, it is a utility class, so you are not
going to see it appear on the Component Palette in the IDE. The actual
component that uses it is TIdMessage. You have to create
TIdAttachments objects in code at runtime.

Am not sure which version of indy I'm using.

You can right-click on any Indy component in the Form Designer. The
version number will be accessible via the popup menu.
