I'm trying to compile a package in Delphi Tokyo update 1 and I got this
message: Fatal: F2084 Internal Error: L2330.

Some idea ?

Notes:
- It is a direct command line compile (dcc32)
- I'm migrating from D7 which compiles this package correctly (not the
exactly same, there are some differences between the two dues to the
compiler differences).
- All is recompiled fresh (bpl, dcp and dcp)
- This is a -big- package: 89 required packages and something like 1100
units (mainly all autogenerated).

Thanks a lot!

Hard to tell. An Internal Error is an error condition in the compiler
or linker. You can't do much about it. Only Embarcadero can.

The L2330 is a hint for the developer team at Embarcadero. I've been
told that L2330 could be the source line 2330 (or some such) of the
linker code (or it could be something else <g>).

But since we don't have that code, it is out of our hands.

Thanks for your answer. I finally found the problem and I'm sorry not
having updated my post.

To make it simple it is related to generics. I try to get the address
of a generic procedure in a package (the generic procedure been
declared in another package). It was an error of course but it takes
some times before I get it. As far as I remember, if you try the same
code in a simple program (ie not packaged), the linker gives you a
correct error message.
