Hi All!

First Edition of the Delphi Memory Management for Classic and ARC Compilers is officially released...

Err... WAS released like two weeks ago!

Sorry, it was hectic here so I forgot to announce it publicly :)

Anyway, it's a bit longer than expected. From a planned 150 pages it grew up to the 326 (A4 format), but I guess you won't mind that.

Some of you asked if there will be an ePub version...

Well, yep! ePub version is here, included in the package!

Of course. It is correctly written in the book. I missed correcting it on the web page.

Always helpful, I am. ;)

Absolutely ;)

Another small point, but in Part 5, I think you meant 'Weak' instead of
'Week'...

And yet another small point to you: please put your answers below the
texts answering to in the future as this is being considered standard in

Don't you know Week is the new Weak ;-)

Corrected, thanks!

Ok, there's an ePub version and a PDF version. How about Mobi (for kindle)?

I guess I could convert it.

Sorry, just PDF and ePub. I have been told that Kindle can read ePub.

I don't have Kindle, so I have no idea.

Kindle can do pdf (very poorly) but not ePub. Calibre can easily convert from
ePub to azw3 (their version of ePub).

azw3 has more features than mobi and been Amazon's default for about 4-5 years
now. Both are offshoots of ePub, azw3 supports more of the ePub 3.0 spec.

That's what I had to do. Found some free online conversion tool and it
worked fine.
