It's possible you're attempting to access posts that have been edited and have a new id, or have been cancelled (there has been a lot of spam lately)

I could contact the powers that be (again) about instituting some spam filtering, if possible.

Im not talking about spam. Im talking about some posts that I know for a
fact are Not spam.

Just as one example, I click on the header for "License Not Found After
Installing 14.2.1" by Shane on 9/7/17, and I get the error.
This has been happening on and off for years.
My only conclusion is that this news server Sucks. Which is a shame,
because it has some valuable content.

(there are some posts that I can see ...mostly very recent ones)

Ha. Well that is possible, but Im not convinced.
Yes, I see the messages do exist, when viewing from the browser
interface. Guess I'll just start using that instead.
(but fyi, this news server has been frustrating people and going down,
off and on, for years. I am certainly not the first one to conclude that
"it Sucks" :) )
thanks,

These forums are maintained by EMBT, not us. The NNTP storage is pretty
short and if you want older articles you need to use the WWW.

I use NNTP exclusively myself and I do see this behaviour too.

Yup, it's the entire Embarcadero newsgroup that goes down. Last time it was up and down for short periods over a few weeks, then down for a week or three continuously.

AtoZed provides great online support. They even reactivated their NNTP newsgroup and provided support there!

Let's all hope this is not Yet Another of those adventures.
