Is it possible to avoid opening a data set when changing the SQL text?

The act of changing the SQL closes the dataset (this is common behavior for most
if not all TDataset descendants). I don't see where in FireDAC code it
automatically reopens it which makes sense since there might be new parameters
etc to setup after the SQL has changed.

It does fire an OnCommandChange event if you have assigned such an event and
perhaps that is where you are reopening it.
