Hi,

Would love to get Intraweb working in C++ builder but have no visual controls such as IWButton showing up, any ideas why this might be so?

The packages are the same as they are per IDE, not per lang.

The same installation package installs IntraWeb on both Delphi and C++ Builder, all versions. Which IDE are you using?

Can you see IntraWeb 14.0 Design time package installed in your IDE (from Component > Install Packages from the IDE menu)?

I have both
Intraweb 14.0 design time for RAD Studio 10.1 Berlin
and
Intraweb 14.0 design time for RAD Studio XE6

I'm running C++ Bulider Professional 10.1 berlin

I've tried both and neither results in visual controls

Are you referring to the pkgs themselves?

I've tried both and neither results in visual controls

So that we are on the same page:

"tried both" - What does that entail? Were you trying to install the
pkgs manually?

The pkg you need is the 10.1 one, not the XE6.

So tried the 10.1 and that does not give me visual IW components.

I have another machine with a clean 10.1 berlin install of C++ and that does not appear to have any Intraweb packages or ability to create a project at all.

I'd attach a screen shot but not sure how to do that on this forum.

Lets try again...

Are you referring to the pkgs themselves?

Yes

I've tried both and neither results in visual controls

So that we are on the same page:

pkgs manually?

both manually after downloading from your site and as installed from .iso supplied by Embarcedero

Unfortunately you did not answer the questions that I asked of you.
Please reread my message and respond to the specific questions.

My question is does this work with XE 10.1 Berlin C++ Builder Professional straight out of the box, the second question would be how do I apply your bootstrap supporting update as listed in the following coderage presentation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfHpt-rogrU

Thanks,

David

Thats still a limited answer. The ISO from EMBT is not IntraWeb. Maybe
you mean RAD Studio?

When you tried using the installer from our site, did you uninstall the
bundled version and run the cleaner first?

Do you see IntraWeb in the list of design packages? Is it checked and
enabled?

My question is does this work with XE 10.1 Berlin C++ Builder
Professional straight out of the box, the second

Yes, it works fine with 10.1 and C++

question would be how do I apply your bootstrap supporting update as
listed in the following coderage presentation

The Bootstrap update is not from us.

I still don't understand what you mean by I have both.

Please run your IDE and go to Component > Install Packages from the IDE menu. Which IntraWeb package can you see there? Is it checked?

Can you see the path for that IDE package? Which path is that?
