I am coming from Advantage Server which has a fast and elegant ISAM table set of ADSTable controls...so now we're using Sql Server[latest version] and Tokyo 10.2 Release 1. The question is there is a TADOTable control available which seems to operate much the same as the ADSTable control.

In reading the documentation on it, there's no mention of using a Sql Server DB, only ACCESS and Jet 4.0.

Has anyone used TADOTable in a Sql SErver context...any comments or any performance issues?

Does it use a true ISAM access or is it a klugged SQL access?

The ADO components work perfectly with Microsoft SQL Server, always
have.

Just make sure you select the OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, and not
any ODBC drivers.
