I wonder what happens when I update Delphi Tokio to Upde 1. It cost me a lot of time (and money) to get the latest components (bpl) installed.
In the past I saw that sometimes the update of a Delphi version keeps the installed components in tact when installing the update.
Is this also the case with Tokio Update 1? Will the Search Paths, Library Paths and installed BPL's components be availble after the Update?

If you installed Delphi Tokyo with the web installer then you must export the settings to a file using the Migration Tool:

http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/Exporting_Settings_to_a_Migration_File

After uninstall Delphi 10.2 and install the update 10.2.1 you must import the settings from the file running the
Migration Tool again.

If you installed Delphi using the ISO installer, just answer NO when the uninstaller ask to you if it must delete the
information from the registry (NO is the default option).

- Use the same installer (web vs ISO)
- Uninstall Delphi leaving registry entries
- Install Delphi

Worked for me.

Additionally there is a migration tool available wich exports/imports
registry settings:
