I'm looking for a reasonably priced modern VCL button control with
standard features plus selectable square or rounded corners, a fully
controllable colour gradient and various border options for use with
Tokyo 10.2. Many vendors include such a component in packs, but these
packs usually include a large number of other components which I don't
need. Any ideas?

Thanks...Andrew

In 10.2 you already have the tools to create your own styles of buttons
(and other controls) for both VCL and FMX. There have been several
CodeRage presentations and blog posts on the topic of styles and use of
the Bitmap Style Designer. Perhaps take a look at:

Well, I've read various blogs from Sarina D and experimented with the
Bitmap Style Designer for quite a few hours now but haven't managed to
produce what I need as yet. Frankly, I would rather pay a reasonable
sum for a fully featured button and spend my time on something more
productive. However, if I get no further suggestions, I guess I'll have
no choice but to continue with my current, abortive, efforts!

A Raize TrzBmpButton with appropriate 24-bit bitmaps and transparency
does the trick.

Thanks for the update.

In my experience I also find Raize components to be very good!
