I recently upgraded my pro version to enterprise and try to find out the benefits of firedac (over unidac).

One feature I would like to use is database encryption with sqlite that seems to be buildt in if sqlite is used with static linking.

What I could not find out by now is:

- How strong is this encryption (Algorithm, its bit size...)?
- Is this available across all platforms?

Thanks in advance for hints and answers.

http://docwiki.embarcadero.com/RADStudio/Tokyo/en/Using_SQLite_with_FireDAC#SQLite_Encrypted_Database

- Is this available across all platforms?

Depends on RAD Studio version. In DX10.2 the encryption is available on all platforms, excluding Linux.
