Upgrading Xcode?

Hi there:

I am using delphi Tokyo with Xcode 7.2.1 (7C1002).

Everything seems to work fine. However, I am wondering whether I should upgrade Xcode or not?

I have some doubts:

1.- Is there any benefit if I upgrade Xcode? Any possible problems?

2.- I have never upgrade it. Is any configuration lost?

3.- Can Apple reject my apps in the future if I do not upgrade?

Thanks in advance

Yes: you can deploy to devices with newer versions of iOS. Xcode 8.2 is required to deploy to iOS 10.2 devices/simulator

Any possible problems?

Yes, if you upgrade to a version of Xcode that Delphi does not support. I would not go any higher than Xcode 8.2.1 as
yet. Since upgrading automatically goes to the latest version (8.3), if you want to install 8.2.1, you would need to go
to the older versions page:

https://developer.apple.com/download/more/

2.- I have never upgrade it. Is any configuration lost?

No configuration in Delphi is lost, however you will need to use the SDK Manager to add any newer SDKs available in the
installed version of Xcode.

3.- Can Apple reject my apps in the future if I do not upgrade?

Yes, depending on whether the version of Xcode you're using is still supported. I haven't been able to find anything
definitive about what the oldest supported version is.

Thanks for your answer.

I am going to follow your suggestions.

However, I am developing for several iphones with the last version of iOS installed, and with Xcode 7.2.1, I do not have any problems to install ad hoc apps.

Although I have not upload to the store news apps recently
