I have an app that uses a fixed number of threads to download a list of files in a multi-threaded fashion. Each thread has it's own data-module, which includes a TIdHTTP component. The app is built with D7.

This has been working fine. However, now I get some people reporting that the downloading in the application hangs, on Windows 10 (not occasionally - every time.) I cannot reproduce this problem - tried on 2 Win 10 x64 bit systems.

Just want to ask the question here: Is there any know issue of Delphi D7 (or other) threads or IdHTTP not working on Win 10 in some situation? My app has a lot of tracing and error handling, however nothing comes up. The app just hangs after the first file. One user tested plain IdHTTP download (get) and it worked fine.

Any suggestion appreciated.

No.

comes up.

Sounds like maybe you are deadlocking your threads.
