I am trying to use hex codes to set the color of a fill property in the style designer. My color is not one of the predefined colors in the list, so I want to use the hex code to specify it. If I enter the hex code '0xFF0000FF' which is pure blue, the color of the item changes to blue and the word "Blue" is placed in the Fill Color box in the object inspector. However, if I use the hex code for the color I want to use which is not in the list of pre defined colors, I just get the null color and nothing happens. Surely there is a way to use colors that are not directly specified in the list. What am I missing here?
