Hello,

using 10.1 Berlin and wanting to add some static items to a static TListView I'm struggeling to see how this
works with the changed designer. Could somebody explain the steps required to me?
There is a design mode and there is an edit mode.
I need just a few static items whith only a text and a AccessoryType "More".

How can I add them via form designer?

Greetings

LiveBind it to a mem table.

Hello,

that's overkill! Just for having 4 static menu items I do not want to
set up a mem table and learn LiveBindings. That's ridiculous!

Didn't have older Delphi versions nthe ability to add TListItems via
form designer?

I know how to do it via code, but all of this defeats the purpose of the
form designer and my scenario is really that easy. I would only use
TListView to get rid of a TListBox which is currently being used and
which uses its own style. So it adds a little bit to the resulting
binary. Other than that the current solution works.

In VCL, yes (and still does). FireMonkey is a totally different beast, and
ListView and its items work completely differently than in VCL.

I agree but that is the solution. FMX TListView has always been add them at runtime or livebindings. The other solution is the TListBox.

I don't know if there are any design time item components here but this has some custom list controls:
