Hi There,
I want to build an android app that can use the phone USB line to send and receive data. Can this be done? Does anybody have a sample of how to access the USB port? Thanks in advance

Hello,

this question would better be suited for the
delphi.platformspecific.android group.

But yes, it can afaik be done.
Another solution, depending on your device is the USB driver from FTDI,
the chip manufacturer.

Thanks Markus,
My Target is a microchip USB running as slave which I currently control with an interface running on a PC(master). So my android app must communicate as a master, which I will then use instead of the PC.
I will keep learning about what it takes and thanks for the help.
