If I change backgroud color of an entity I would also like to have the same entity background color be updated of the same model

To update the same in the physical model from logical model goes ok, but here I want to change color of the entity in all submodels.

Is there a switch around that I have overseen???

Sure... There should be an "Apply to all submodels" option when you change the color. Check that and the change should propagate.
