Hi,
Could someone tell me why this line is generating a EOleException "No such interface supported" error?
  init_lib := My_obj.get_init_library_obj;

The GUID is in the registry. I re-registered the app but I'm still getting the same error.
Couldn't find much info on the net regarding this error.
Thanks

var
  My_obj : COM_C_LIB;

procedure TForm6.Button1Click(Sender: TObject);
var
  myObj : IMyClass;
  init_lib : initLibraryStruct;
begin
  myObj := TMyClass.Create;
  myObj.User := 'DelphiUser';
  myObj.Password := 'userPwrd';

  My_obj := CoC_LIB_.Create;
  init_lib := My_obj.get_init_library_obj; // No such interface supported error!
end;

FYI, when you start a new discussion, it is helpful if you include information
describing the context of the code being used, for people who did not read
the previous discussions.

Apologies. I realised it wasn't a good idea creating a new thread afterwards. It's a shame there's no option to remove a thread.

Fred,

Hmmm,... I use XanaNews and there IS a "Remove Thread" operation. As
long as one is the originator of the thread.

I am using XanaNews. If I remove a thread, does it really affect the
server and any cached thread messages located at other XanaNews users?
I think he wants to erase the Internet memory of his thread and that is
virtually impossible...

Hmmm,... damifino. It's possible it only affects one's local DB. I
realize that I have always just assumed it removed a thread from the
server. (???)

Perhaps someone who knows what XN actually does will comment.
