I have not used XE before (of course include FM).
What is FireMonkey? And differences between VCL?
Any pointer to tutorials will be appreciated.

VCL still exists and is being enhanced but it's for windows only development.

Firemonkey is a new Cross Platform Library for Delphi that supports
Window 32/64
OS X
iOS
Android

This page shows you a bit of what FireMonkey is.
