Hello!

I have a problem with OpenGL in Builder 2009 environment.
I use basic OpenGL functions from gl.h and glu.h.

Everything works perfect on my PC or on other computers where proper graphic driver was (properly) installed.
Problem appears on old machines (at some of our customers) where the graphic driver is not installed or not installed properly. They claim the couldn't do it, couldn't install the driver (without comment), but similar application written in VB works without any problems (without necessity of installing a proper driver).
This is not like that the application using OpenGL doesn't work at all, but works very, very slow (even not 1 FPS).

I've written the viewer using OpenGL in two versions: using display list and using vertex array. The effect is similar (works properly on my computer and any other with properly installed graphics, and work very, very slow on others).

If you heard about such a problem and know any solution, please help.

Kind Regards,

Mariusz

Older video hardware without the proper graphics pipelines will fall
back to software emulation. Not much you can do about that.
