Hello,

using Delphi XE8, can I use FireDAC or something else to use the Firebird services API to change the password of the default sysdba user?
If yes, how is this done? A search didn't reveal anything on that level yet. I want to avoid using gsec.

Greetings

You can connect to Database and execute SQL to change user password,
have you tried it?

ALTER USER SYSDBA PASSWORD 'NewPassword'

Hello,

one more reason to upgrade to 2.5.I'm still on 2.1. So I didn't check it yet.

Greetings
