I have an app that is a database utility that lets you view, edit, and copy dBase, Access, Excel, DataSnap, DBExpress, and Interbase Files (www.accessoryware.com/download/datacopy7.exe). The Interbase FIles work when run from Delphi (DX10), but due to additional licensing, I get a message about licensing when run outside of Delphi ide. What steps do I need to complete the Interbase Licensing, so I can access Interbase files in distribution? Any links would be helpful.(All Database access is through FireDac, except Datasnap files.)

Delphi includes licensing for InterBase Server edition, so any
application that uses InterBase that runs on the same machine where
Delphi is installed should have appropriate licensing. You can see the
licensing by running licensemanager.exe from the bin folder of your
Delphi install. If you are getting an InterBase error on the same
machine where Delphi is installed, you should tell us what the error is.

If Delphi is not installed, then to add InterBase licensing run License
Manager from InterBase group in the start menu and add your InterBase
serial number.

I recommend you continue this conversation in the InterBase general
area. It is not a Delphi or FireDac problem.

I get the error Unavailable database IB when I run on another machine, but did get the app to load a gdb file when run standalone outside of the ide, after adding ibtogo.dll to the folder. I will start this discussion in Interbase and mark as answered here.
