For a number of XE releases now, HTML5 Builder is offered to RAD Studio owners "as part of your purchase". This from the "Embarcadero RAD Studio XE8 Available Downloads" page that appears at the end of installation.

Unfortunately when ever I try to install this I am face with a registration screen that requires a serial number. Since my interest HTML5 Builder has only ever been curiosity I've never perused this. This time though, I thought I'd ask. Is it really included and if so how to I get a serial number?

Sure that's what I guessed, but it didn't work. Tells me my registration info is incorrect. My XE8 is listed in the license manager as "Delphi XE8 Enterprise Named User (Upgrade from XE4 or later).

So since we keep updating our XE_ I wonder which serial number it wants?

Your license is for Delphi, not RAD Studio.

So do you actually have RAD Studio XE8 Enterprise or 'only' Delphi XE8 Enterprise?

Yes it looks like that's the case. Apparently we down graded from RAD Studio Architect to Delphi Enterprise about 3 XEs ago. I didn't even notice. <sigh>
It had something to do with the cost of maintaining 12 licenses.
