I'm using TeeChart with maps and I'm trying to determine if a point is included in a polygon (for example, in which state (Polygon) a city(point) is located). I am using longitude and latitude for x and y. The coordinates from the polygons come from a shapefile and each point is a longitude and latitude. I also have a list of cities with their coordinates. So I'm asking, if there is any function that can tell me if a point is located inside a polygon with TeeChart?

I know about the Ray-casting algorithm. I was wondering if TeeChart had something that could answer my question or if there is any function in Delphi for the Ray-casting that I could use.

Thank you.

I am using this one in my software:

Which is of course ray-casting, but at least it is ready for use.
