Hi,
I have Delphi 2006 Pro, and wanted to create a simple DLL using C++ Builder. Haven't programmed for a while. Thus, created DLL project, included my code, and then tried to add .DEF file into the same project, but the IDE did not accept it. Am I doing something wrong? I thought that would include .DEF file in the project, do build, and everything would be taken care of, but apparently the IDE does not know what to do with the .DEF file. Thanks for the reply.

Works fine for me in C++Builder 6, I can't imagine newer versions breaking
this functionality (I haven't tried creating DLLs in newer versions).

Thanks, Remy. I was able to include DEF file in the project, however it is still not recognized as a special file. The IDE is trying to compile it, giving errors. When I attempt to rename the DEF file, giving it the same name as the project (DLL), IDE complains that a module with such name already exists in the project. The project was created as DLL. Should it be able to recognize DEF extension?
I am using C++ Builder 6.
