Yes, I do this in a live app. When adding the list items, I check the first letter of the surname to see if it is the same first letter as the previous person. If it is not, then I create a new TListItem containing just that letter as the Text property, and set the ListItem.Purpose := TListItemPurpose.Header;

I understand, but I'm using TListView. ListItem is a item from TListBox, right?

Thanks

No, a TListView is made up of TListItems. As an EMBT MVP, I thought this was basics? :)

Ola Adriano ;)

Take a look on the demos from Sarina DuPont.

There is one exactly about this topic. I have no time to lookup right now,
but it is easy.

She shows how to create this grouping. I am using in my application and works
nicely

Sorry, I think I was not clear.

In Objective-C, iOS, the TableView has a feature that I have not seen in Delphi. When there is a grouped list, letters appear on the right side of the TableView. By dragging your finger up and down in these letters, we can quickly jump to a group. That's what I want to do and have not seen how.

TableView with a photo of this example is in the link below to understand better.
