Please comment if there is a better way to achieve this.
As a test I need to get data from MYSQL remote server onto a mobile device that has SQLite.
Edit some data on the device and then sync back to the server.
Handle if the connection drops.
I am using MyDac mysql component and dbExpress SQLITE.

Plan is as follows:
On the first connection.
1. Check for internet connection.
Is this done at MyDac level ( i.e. if there is no connection for the component) or should I be checking for an actual internet connection.
2. Get all data from MYSQL copy to sqlite table.
3. Use sqlite data whilst entering / changing data on the device.
4. Update SQLITE with changes.
5. Check for connection.
6. Sync data back to MYSQL table (i.e. update existing records and insert new ones).

On future connections how do I sync both ways. e.g. there may be a new customer on the device and also in the main database.
Also there may be a certain customer changes on both.

Any tutorials info etc appreciated.
