Hello all,
This case I am using XE3 and windows 7.
I have an executable program, using :
ADO connection
ADO Query
DataSource
On a VCL windows program all database commands work perfectly.
on a CGI app,
Without the ADO Connection, the CGI presents an HTMl page with the variable broken out from the Get method, everything is good.
When I add the ADO connection ( even a copy paste from another instance of XE3 ) the CGI fails. http500 ... failure

Any Ideas ?
Thanks in Advance
Andrew

Further Clarification:
Create CGI stand alone,
Add Page Producer (PP1)
PP1->HTMLDoc->Add("<HTML>");
PP1->HTMLDoc->Add(" <BODY>");
PP1->HTMLDoc->Add(" Customer Responded :");
PP1->HTMLDoc->Add(" </BODY>");
PP1->HTMLDoc->Add("</HTML>");
everthing is good, this will run and display "Customer Responded :" in HTML.
if I add a ADOConnection1 component.
With no settings at all, just adding the component, the CGI will fail, just having it included makes it fail.
Is there a different way to add it, outside of a Action .... ?

Thanks again
Andrew

Sorry, didn't mention also using Apache 2.2, if that makes any difference ?

Thanks.
