I just upgraded to Tokyo 10.2.3 from XE7. On the Welcome page there is a tutorial called "Create your first Multi-Device Application". I'm not sure what to call it but the tutorial uses a type of panel with a close button and hyperlink.

Does anyone know if this is available as a component?

Thanks,

Steve

Hello,

I doubt this, but this doesn't pose any problem. You can put anything o
naything in FMX, means anything can be parent of anything.

You can put a TImage on a TButton for instance.

Hi Markus,

I was thinking that it would be a VCL component as I believe the IDE is written using the VCL (correct me if I'm wrong).

It looks like I can do the same thing using the TMS TAdvPanel so I guess I've answered my own question.

And Mobile Development is not done with VCL components but with FMX one.
So if somebody creates a webinar about component development for multi
device projects he most likely will show FMX component development.

Sorry I'm not sure I understand your response. The question wasn't about mobile development, multi-device projects, or webinars on component development. It was about what appears to be a VCL component that is used for the "Create your first Multi-Device Application" option under Get Started. If you click that option you will see what I mean. The "tutorial" takes place in the IDE, not in a webinar. Please refer to image in link below.

The "Welcome Page" is an embedded web browser (Internet Explorer) so
everything that appears is made using html/css/javascript

Thanks Markus. I should have started off with the image and avoided the confusion. :-)
