Hi,

I am new to Firemonkey and wanted to add a menu to my solution but couldn't really see any obvious components for this. Many apps use the slideout menu and I noticed a third-party solution from Kernow Software but it didn't work, it just crashes the app on the Android phone. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to handle a simple menu?

TIA.

Have you look at the TMultiView component that ships with Delphi? Gives quite a nice slide out from the side menu.

I dont have any problems with the kernow menu. It works with forms which should be created upfront.
Do the demo’s work? Maybe its that tokyo 2.2 bug. Install the latest patch then.

You can also roll out your own menu. Just add a TRectancle and add buttons. Open and close it via TFloatanimation property to animate the position.
For extra speed and smoothness maybe you can try the equivalent Alicinoe controls from LokiLokiLokiLoki :-) It has native drawing as well as double buffering.
