Hello,

some hints, even if your requirements aren't formulated detailed enough:

1. for sending e-mails on Android you can call the e-mail app via intent
and pass the receiver's address, the subject and the message body.
The other option would be to use Indy components, there should be a
SMTP client component in them and then you can contact the SMTP
server directly. But that would require to know its IP/DNS address
and login data etc.

2. Use fingerprint: afaik for Android fingerprint there was some
discussion in the delphi.platformspecific.android group here lately.
Even if some idiot is spamming that group heavily with links to
online videos etc. you should find the thread about fingerprint.

3. For design: mobile apps are done in a resolution independent design
whereever possible. You need to get familiar with controls like
TVertScrollbox, TLayout, the alignments, margins and maybe TFlowPanel
or TGridPanel etc.

And formulare your questions more precise: access to e-amil: just
sending or receiving as well?

Greetings

Markus

Thank you for your so fast answer !

- we don't want to send/receive mails, we just want to read (backup)
mails what are already in phone (if use gmail or/and other client)

2. Use fingerprint: afaik for Android fingerprint there was some
discussion in the delphi.platformspecific.android group here lately.
Even if some idiot is spamming that group heavily with links to
online videos etc. you should find the thread about fingerprint.

- i find just one post about fingerprint, not much details there

3. For design: mobile apps are done in a resolution independent design
whereever possible. You need to get familiar with controls like
TVertScrollbox, TLayout, the alignments, margins and maybe TFlowPanel
or TGridPanel etc.

- ok, with some we are familiar for others we will look

thx

This most likely depends on the exact client the user is using as each
of those may store them differently. And if it stores them inside its
app folder somewhere (what I suspect) you might not get access to these
files anyway.
