Delphi does not work anymore on macOS High Sierra, and the os after High Sierra will be only 64 bit with no support for 32 bit software anymore.
Firemonkey is with that screwed for many.
Not only that, existing products will stop working with no way to get them running again = loosing sales.

What will Embarcadero do about that?

64 bit macOS support is on the roadmap:

Does that mean you have been unable to compile your apps on High Sierra? What problems have you encountered exactly?

Menus are closing immediately after they open. Somebody even reported it to QC here https://quality.embarcadero.com/browse/RSP-18951

Application made with Delphi works perfectly well on macOS High Sierra, they just have to be built using a previous OS, e.g. macOS Sierra.

You should always be cautious when upgrading anything on your developer Mac. Upgrading either XCode or OS X often cause problems and needs a fix from Embarcadero. They never failed on delivering a fix, but it can take up to several months. Therefore I never upgrade neither OS X nor XCode until several other people have confirmed that Delphi can build and debug.

Have you tried running a FireMonkey app on macOS High Sierra?

Do you know if the way GateKeeper manages unsigned apps is exactly the same as with previous versions of macOS?

Our app (built with Berlin and Tokyo) has been tested with High Sierra and it works well. It is sandboxed though, which is highly recommended anyway, as it is required to reach the Mac App Store. If you have problems, it might be because you app is not sandboxed.

Hello,

it that I find at least 3 persons this evening who top post instead of
putting their answers below the text answering to, as is standard in
these forums?

Can anybody explain that phenomen to me?

=> please follow the majority in this forum and put answers below the
text answering to in the future.

Greetings
