I'm familiar to the VCL TListBox control, now I'm looking at the similar FM TListbox.

FM TListbox has TListBoxItems which can be used to add items to the list box at design time.

FM TListbox also has the familiar items property - a TStringList which at design time can assigned a list of text strings.

In the IDE, II added 6 TListBoxItems to a TListBox. Accessing the items property programatically returns the texts of the TListBoxItems.

I then added 9 text lines to the listbox items (in the IDE). This replaced the TListBoxItem texts shown in the list box.

Now, in the IDE, trying to delete a TListBoxItem caused a crash. I had to forcibly close XE8 and I restarted.

Various other tests give surprising effects.

Now my question: "What are TListBoxItems for?" After all, it does complicate matters, and the two methods of handling items do no work well together.
