If no one converted them yet, you will have to do this yourself.

Some help: http://rvelthuis.de/articles/articles-convert.html

I just looked around a little on their website. They have Delphi demo
programs, using Delphi units, so I assume you can simply use those.

Thank you for both of your reply's, will take a look at your first reply but as for your second LEADTools has a set of Components that are no longer supported and though they can be installed do not have all of the new functions that are in the newest version of LEADTools.

Then, if you need a conversion for those, you'll have to do your own
conversions. This is not too hard, actually. Just follow the examples
and see how they convert to Pascal.

Yes, but if those components do come with source that source might be a
good starting poiunt for Mark.

Of course. I don't know in which language they are written. Do you?

Hello,

components for Delphi (if I talk about TComponent descendants in the
stricter sense) can only be written in 2 languages afaik, correct
(disregarding the use of BASM or .ASM -> .OBJ includes of course)?

Only in Delphi. Delphi can't consume C++Builder written components,
AFAIK.

But the name "C API" makes me think that the original API is NOT
written in Delphi.

That may well be, but when there were compomnents mentionend and I think
source was mentioned somewhere then analyzing these components and
studying the API reference hopefully existing, he should be able to
extend/update those components.

This is Amin from LEADTOOLS support.
We do ship Pascal units for Delphi with different versions of our main imaging SDK setup, and this includes the current version 19.
The units are installed in the "LEADTOOLS 19\Uses" folder where there's a directory for Win32 and another for x64.
These units have function prototypes and data type definitions (structures, pointers, etc.) that cover most of the toolkit features. Unlike VCL controls, which are tied to a specific version of Delphi, these units should work with any version of Delphi. If you try them with Berlin and run into any problem, send an email to support at leadtools dot com with the details of the problem and we'll look into it. Please note that email support is free for toolkit owners and free evaluation users alike.
