I have followed successfully most of the steps outlined in this link but I need clarification with the last few steps
http://community.embarcadero.com/blogs/entry/setting-up-interbase-in-the-cloud-with-aws

Once you have setup the desktop environment you download a copy of the*Free Developer Edition* and install the product

https://downloads.embarcadero.com/free/ibdev. I CAN GET TO THE PAGE BUT IT DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO DOWNLOAD. NO ERRORS ARE SHOWN.
I AM ALSO UNABLE TO SEE MY THUMB DRIVE TO INSTALL THE INTERBASE.

**[Post Installation Steps]**

**1) Once you have setup your environment you will need to add a port under your security groups** ( Where is this done?)

**2) Interbase's default port is 3050**

**3) Also allow the IP's you would need to connect to this AMI (Amazon Machine Image).**

**4) Now you should be all set in connecting to Interbase in the Cloud**

Once again, this is for the databased components, not InterBase itself. The InterBase
Devs actually sometimes answer questions in the InterBase group (embarcardero.public.InterBase.General). You should ask
this in the InterBase group to get the highest chance of getting an answer.

You are contradictory.
This was your last response : You might want to ask this in the InteBase.general group since it is IB specific
and not IBX. I have not setup this configuration personally.

No I'm not, this is still not the InterBase group. There is a dedicated
InterBase group, I gave you its name in my post.

This is database.general, not InterBase.General.
