Whenever I start Delphi I get a popup File Recovery window saying

"'RAD Studio has recovered the following files. Save the ones you wish
to keep.:

And there is nothing in the list, so I click Close. All ok after that.
Also, all my projects open ok.

This started happening few days ago after my laptop was shut down
unexpectedly. What is triggering this?

Win 10 x64, 10 Seattle Architect upd 1.

Thanks.

Hello,

if I'm not mistaken I heared about such a thing somewhere else already.
But I don't know what triggered it.

You might want to file a bug in QP if noth within a few days somebody
answers your post saying that the issue has already some bugreport for
it so EMBT officially knows.

Greetings

Markus

Found the problem. Registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Embarcadero\BDS\17.0\Recover Files

contains an entry with the folder which doesn't exists anymore. I
think D10 Seattle should be more inteligent and delete non-existing
folders from the registry.

Hello,

you might want to file a QP issue about that so it gets fixed.

Thanks Denis.

I was just struck by this as well. Your REGEDIT fix was perfect.

This actually has been reported as RSP-12675 but your findings about reason help to reproduce and hopefully fix the issue.
