When I build my application as 64 bit it takes 27 seconds
both in Delphi 10.1 Berlin and XE6.
In announcement for 10.1 it says that the latest Delphi also has
a better / optimized compiler.
This is probably nothing to do with speed, since it
is exactly the same?

Still 64 bit compiler is much slower than the 32 bit one.
For the same application 32 bit compiler needs
only 10 seconds (comparing to 27).

Any hint would be appreciated.

Perhaps they mean speed of generated binary code?
