Hello from St Louis Missouri
I have a Windows application made with C++ Builder professional. I need to make a new installation program to install it. Its been a while since I've made an install program, Years ago I used Installshield that came with a Inprise release right before embarcadero. Have there been any install programs distributed with C++ builder ? Does embarcdero have any partners that have something simple and cheap?
Also does any body know of any good open source windows installers out there?

Thanks for the feedback.

I can't provide any feedback based on personal experience with any of the installation tools I'm about to mention. My "deployment" history consists of copy-pasting my application exe from the source to the destination. That said, I have started to look at some traditional mass deployment options and here are some that I think could warrant further research.

Paid
InstallMate 9 - $249 - http://www.installmate.com
Actual Installer Pro - $89.95 - http://www.actualinstaller.com

Free
WiX - http://wixtoolset.org/
Inno Setup - http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php
Nullsoft Scriptable Install System - http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

I have used Inno-setup and like it.

The only 'downside' is there is a steep learning
curve, but it allows you to make creating your
setup from the command line in additional to
which the actual setup file is text based.

Because of this, I can in a batch file, inject
my own code in the build file and then create
in a next step for say multiple countries, or
different customer types.

I use this to for e.g. dynamically extract
the version number from my exe and inject it
in the build. It makes life easy in the long run.

IMHO.

For me (RAD Studio Professional subscription), the last time they bundled an installer app was with XE2 which was InstallAware 12.
