I am using Delphi Seattle FMX for development on Android/IOS. I have already developed
a basic module using JSON communicating to my REST ISAPI server.

Now I wanted to proceed further in developing a ECommerce application.

What material should I read ? Is there a sample application that will guide me.

Hello,

what exactly do you expect?
What shall your app do exactly or put otherwise: with which other topics
do you struggle? GUI design?

Greetings

Will need assistance with
1) Database handling as to use dataaware components or pass all via JSON text URL
2) GUI how to adjust screens for various sizes of devices with varying dimensions
3) Some sample thread programming while doing some time consuming task like downloading JPG etc
4) Payment gateway handling
Thanks

Hi,

To really get some useful help from a development tool oriented forum,
you should be more specific to a problem you are having coding and not
guide me how to do, because all you have pointed out can be implemented
in many ways that will vary of the problem you want to solve, the
scenario, the experience and point of view, etc.

IOW, there is no simple answer to your questions that will make you go
with your project on this forum. and this is because on how you have
asked for help, I'm almost sure this is the only reply you will get. At
the most there will be guide and links to make yourself more clear about
the tasks you need to learn about before coding, but do not expect that
someone tell you to do this or do that.

as example, to get a reply:
1) I'm using component X, to connect to my X Database in my multiuser
app, when client one connects it works ok, but when client two connects
I get the following exception "...". here is my connection handler code:
"...".

I don’t want to be rude, just want to point you in the right direction
on how things works on forums and get the most useful help from them.

You can try TThread, or TTask.Run();

Hello Allan,

Take a look on TMS Bussiness.

If I understood what you want you have EVERYTHING in that product to make
what you want.

the XData server is very easy to implement and then you can create the services/operations
to deal with most of the main databases (via aurellius)

It is all JSON based and there is the XDataClient to handle with that, and
bring you back a object. No need to deal with JSON if you dont want to.

Works on all platforms (the client side), fast, reliable, ready for large
scale connections, very well documents.

I delivered last year a big application using it and was the best thing I
could choose, this app including an ecommerce site that connects to the main
database by XData.
