When I open my projects in landscape in iOS the form appears to be rotated 90 degrees to the right and also doesn't fit in the screen.

When I open it in portrait I don't got any problems also when I than turn it to landscape it displays correctly.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

For me this was caused when I had Application.ProcessMessages; in the OnFormCreate event. Try commenting out everything in OnFormCreate and see if it goes away?

The problem was indeed in the onFormCreate. I use a TFG ActivityDialog there which gave the problem. So I've removed it and solved it.

When you asked the same question on [StackOverflow|http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30641496/opening-a-project-in-landscape-in-ios-doesnt-display-correctly-in-delphi-xe8/30643625#30643625] I answered with these two links:

https://forums.embarcadero.com/thread.jspa?threadID=115542

Did you try any of the work arounds suggested there?

Yes as you can also see in on the page there i put an update en reacted to the answers. I have tried to compile using older version of xcode which allows me to compile with iOS7.1. This solved the rotation problem but now it didn't fill the whole screen.

As for the other suggestions I havent had time to test them all. So I will post back when i have more information. I also need to try out the answer from Eli M
