Accelerator keys and Style

Hi,

I have found that when I add accelerator keys in the main menu when using any of the available styles in XE7 (like Slate Classico), they are shown correctly underlined in the editor, but in the application, when you hit alt, even though the main menu is correctly underlined (F in file, E in edit, etc.), all the sub menus do not (O in Open, etc). They do work if you know what they are. That is, if I hit alt, then F, then O, my file open comes up, but without the underlining a new user won't know what key to press.

When I use the default windows style, it works fine. All the appropriate characters are underlined in the main menu and submenus as well. Any ideas on what I can change in the available styles to get it to work?

Thanks!
SDE

As this is the official embarcadero discussion forum, is it unreasonable of me to expect a response from someone on the embarcadero team indicating that I haven't provided enough information, that my issue can't be helped, or that I am asking a ridiculous question?

This is a peer support forum, not a forum staffed by Embarcadero
employees. So it can happen that nobody knows an answer to a question,
especially if your problem happens in a fairly specific context others
may not have encountered yet.

In addition the forum has been down a lot recently, and many of the
forum regulars only check the groups once or twice a day. I have not
been able to get in for four days straight, for example...

Thanks for the context, Peter! Is there any such forum where you can expect embarcadero developers to participate in the conversation?

The official support (support.embarcadero.com I think) costs money. If
you bought your Delphi/Rad Studio with a subscription (software
assurance as it used to be called) you have a certain number of support
calls for free, otherwise only installation support is free.

Yes, you're right. It get's you a whole 3 incidents a year! My team has 5 licenses and the support subscription so that should get us 15 questions annually. And you're also right about this site being down a lot. I wasn't able to get on for a couple of weeks and then I gave up for a couple more.
