Hello,

I just installed XE7 update 1 on a PC and when trying to run it I displayed a few messages about dlls/package
(I guess most of them .NET related but I'm unsure and it's not my PC) not being registered as COM server.
It always asked if those should be loaded on the next startup again. I said yes. After a few of them a final
error message with only an OK button came up. Clicking it quit Delphi completely (it hadn't even shown a
splash screen at that point if I remember correctly).

Sorry for not having recorded the actual failure messages. The owner of the laptop reported that a few days
ago some Delphi in-house application (which afaik also relies on COM) didn't start anymore. A reinstall of that
application helped in that case. So I'm hoping to fix the Delphi issue by a repair installation tomorrow.

Anything else to check/consider?
That particular PC is running Windows 7 and .NET framework 4.5.2 is installed.

Greetings

Markus

Hello,

mostly fixed it by doing a repair installation. The only thing not working is the help.
It says that no help context has been installed or something like this.

Greetings
