Does this ring any bells with anybody?

All been going fine with us using ad hoc deployment onto iPhones. If I do a new project, it works great - Build, Deploy, copy to iTunes, Sync, and the app appears on the phone and works. So our basic set up of keychain, certificates, mobileprovision etc seems to be legit.

But... on our main app when we do the same thing, the icon greys out during installation and stays there.

One answer we found on Stack Overflow seemed to suggest that maybe we are now signing it with the wrong profile/identity/banana - though quite where this gets set I don't know.

Earlier versions of the ipa file that we created a few weeks ago still go onto the devices no problem.

So, before I start a new project and laboriously start copying all the files and resources over to it from the old one, does anybody have any suggestions?

(XE6, XCode 5.1. Deploying onto phones with 7.1 and 8.1, same issue on both)

Thanks
Richard

Are the certificate settings exactly the same in both projects?

Specifically:

Distribution Certificate
Mobile Provisioning Profile

An Ad Hoc IPA won't install if the certificate is not correct.

Yes, they were.

No idea what the problem was - but it has proved relatively easy to create a new project, copy the files over again, and get back up and running. All deploying fine now. Something must have got messed up inside the project settings somewhere.
